Hail man! Well, the band OLD was born in 2003, I stick my dick into Metal since ca. ’87- ’88 the other members started somewhere in the beginning/middle of the ‘90s to listen to Metal. II) I heard and read some stupid cunts saying “OLD’s Down With The Nails is just another DARKTHRONE album”… What the fuck would you shout at them right now if they were in front of you? Ahhh, you know- I really don’t care about such people. This kind of people even DON’T understand Darkthrone, when they get old enough and their piss smells like PISS and not like MILK then maybe a few of them are ready to understand the METAL system…. III) How did you guys got in touch with Fenriz? It’s a question you must be asked very often, but hell, I never read anything about this… He got our demo Tape “Blood Skull” via tape trading (from Mister X- thank you Mister X) and after listening to it I got mail from him… that’s all about to say… IV) Down With The Nails was recorded in 2005, been a while ago now… What are your plans now? Do you have new material for a new effort? Yeah we have new material… but before we release another album we want to release FINALLY “Down with…” on Vinyl… and record another 7” ep as split with our Australian buddy’s TRENCH HELL.

about that….but- BLACK METAL is a FEELING you can DROWN into it and HYPNOSE
you into your DARK WORLD. You know when I listen to Black Metal then there
is NO ROOM in my brain for the people who did the music… too much idiots
listen to Black Metal and start to think about how cool are Samoth , Fenriz,
Grishnack…bla bla bla that’s totally BULLSHIT! Other stupid things are
Black Metal clichés like “to burn down a church”, “kill a Christian”,
“spread terror” etc.. You think this is Black Metal??!! Hahaha… well,
then let me ask you something- if those clichés are Black Metal-
so then must be Taliban for example the biggest BLACK METAL ORGANIZATION
ON EARTH. Right? Uffff, or what is about when a HIP HOP gangster burns
down a church? So would you say he is Black Metal?? VI) Your Tom G. Warrior 'ugh!' and 'ooh!' vocals style makes me guess you are fans of CELTIC FROST. What do you think of their latest album? After a long time I did finally listen to it and it’s not really my taste. But this doesn’t make me UNLUCKY…because I always prefer the 80s releases… same with Destruction, Exodus, Kreator, Onslaught etc.. I think the BEST reunion 80s band is still VULCANO- “Tales from the Black Book” album is a real METAL MONSTER. VII) I have read your point of
view about this so-called BM elite: “ Wenn sich dann solche Schwachköpfe
noch Elite nennen, könnt ich platzen!”… Eh eh, anything to add? VIII) Did you hear what happened with SHINING from Norway? They spread rumours about the death of their singer, but he actually took part in recent gigs, with a swastika scarified in the head… Your opinion about these circus bands? I thought they come from Sweden…but it doesn’t matter. Like I said- I don’t care about what people do with their bands, important to me is only the music. I like about 200 bands and if in each band are about 4 people so then we get a result of 800 people- you think I do really care about 800 people?? I think this is a better question for our elite friends. Muhahaha IX) You guys have a myspace page, and most “true elitist BM freaks” claim that’s a shame to register to such websites when you play BM… Something particular to say here? Well, we DON’T deal with second wave Black Metal….so mister and misses true elite can just FUCK OFF with their cool elite logos on their mobile phones. I come from a WORLD were TAPES and VINYL were number one….so what the hell should I care about someone who is a MP3 elite hero….hahaha X) Iron Tyrant also performs in HELLISH CROSSFIRE, another great band from Germany! Why not release an OLD / HELLISH CROSSFIRE split cd? Tell me more about HELLISH CROSSFIRE, most of our readers would kill to learn things about it… I am not the biggest fan of split cd’s, I do prefer split EP’s. Well, all I know is that Hellish Crossfire don’t have anymore rehearsing problems now and so they are able to rehearse more for writing new songs. All I know is that they have 3 new fuckers… and I bet they kick ass!... And they released finally their vinyl album “slaves of the burning pentagram” on I Hate Records. Fucking great piece of Metal! XI) Give me your impressions about today’s Black Metal scene in Germany. What are the bands you would advise me? Which ones should I definitely forget? Please be honest and make me save money! Oh, there are still a handful of great bands here…but I cant know ALL. Bands I know which are worth to mention are: Nocturnal, Betrayed, Necros Christos, Rademassaker, Zarathustra, Luror, Succubitch etc… XII) The Headbangers Moselfranken seem to be very famous in Germany, even here in the North East of France and Luxembourg where I live, but why aren’t you part of this structure? Do you personally enjoy the HM bands? Yeah I enjoy them and I do know the most of the people. But I am not a FAN of HM Fan clubs…. So that’s why I NEVER would join ANY Metal club etc… XIII) Hey Oscar, I recently attended a TANKARD gig in Trier, did you attend this crazy gig? How do you consider this cult German act? No, I wasn’t there. Last time I was in Trier was somewhere in ’96 or ’97 I think it was a Dark Funeral gig or Impaled Nazarene I don’t remember it well now… I was never a big fan of Tankard, I like 2 -3 songs that’s all. XIV) May we hope to see you on stage in Trier? I would like to play there some day, I have great memories of the Exil club in Trier been there about 15 times in the 90s to see acts like Desaster, Behemoth, Impaled Nazarene, Dark Funeral etc… that’s all more than 10 years ago now. XV) What’s your opinion about France? You know, our typical specialities such as strikes, good wine, suburbs burnings, the Black Legions, ah ah… I don’t know really so much about France, I passed France the last time in 1995 as I was visiting my grandfathers in Spain. I liked a lot of bands in the 90s from France and I still have a lot of original stuff like Funeral/ Osculum Infame demo, lot of Vald Tepes cds, Belketre, Kristallnacht demo etc… but like I said this was in the 90s… and nowadays the whole Black Metal scene is different. I am sure I did dig them at the RIGHT time when second wave Black Metal was BLACK METAL… I don’t have respect to a fucking POSER with Burzum shirt who listens to Black Metal since 4 or 5 years WHEN he thinks he could piss me off because I am wearing PROUD an Iron Maiden shirt for example… I got in touch with Black Metal when “ablaze in the northern sky” was released! And I spent 90% of the 90s with second wave BLACK METAL. So all this kids of nowadays who think they are super true evil can GO TO HELL!...I don’t have time for them. XVI) Oscar, I really thank you
